MST14139Do you live to be on stage?  Then we want to know you.  Marin Summer Theater is looking for 20 to 30 student performers (actors, singers and dancers) between the ages of 16 and 23 to join the 2017 company. 

Performers can audition in person or via recorded submission. Marin Summer Theater has a 7-week season.  We rehearse and perform from June 18 to July 31.  Rehearsal times are 5:45pm to 10pm Monday through Friday, and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.  Company members will also be required for weekend performances. 

dsc 0291 w400 h263Acceptance in the company is subject to audition.  For non-college age performers, tuition is $450.  Scholarships are available. Stipends are available for college aged performers.

DSC06750Auditions for the 2017 season will be held on April 2 and April 9, 2017.  In-person auditions are by appointment only.  Applicants unable to audition in person can submit a recorded audition via email or DVD.

Performer - Recorded Auditions

If you are unable to audition in-person, you can audition for the MST 2017 season by submitting an application and then sending us a recorded audition.  The recording can be uploaded on-line or mailed on a DVD to Marin Summer Theater, P.O. Box 79, Woodacre CA 94973 for delivery by April 9, 2017.

Performer - In-Person Auditions

In-person auditions for the 2017 Season will be held on April 2 and April 9, 2017 from 9am to 5pm at Rhythms Performing Arts Center, 1114 1st St, Novato, CA 94945  You only need to attend one day of auditions.

About Marin Summer Theater

Marin Summer Theater (MST) is an award winning non-profit theater company for students of performing arts between the ages of 13 and 23. The MST company prepares and presents three fully-staged productions in a six-week summer season. MST's mission is threefold: To present exciting, professional quality drama, musical theater and musical revue productions; to keep tuition as low as possible so that cost is not a barrier to participation; to create a diverse company of college and high school students.
