Dear Marin Summer Theater Audience and Supporters -
We'd like to thank each and every one of you for your support in making 2014 a very successful summer. 2014 was the most ambitious season that MST has ever produced. In seven weeks we mounted three incredibly different, difficult and challenging shows, and judging from audience attendance and response you were not disappointed.
We would especially like to thank Novato Unified School District, San Marin High School, San Marin Music Boosters and all of our advertisers and donors. Without your support MST could not exist.
One result of your support is that there will be a 2015 season. 2014 was a record breaking summer that insured MST will continue into 2015. We hope to announce details within the next month or two. We continue to deal with funding and manpower challenges especially in marketing and fundraising areas and are actively looking for volunteers and new funding sources to help out.
Thank you again. Your support this summer changed lives. We know because it changed ours.
Tonight was an MST first. For the first time, MST produced two different shows in two different venues on the same night! On Saturday, July 12 at 7pm at the Novato HS PAC, the members of Musical Theater Madness presented 20 YEARS OF TONYS. At 8pm, the MST company presented the second night of RENT. Four weeks into the season and MST has already produced four different shows. Its been a busy season!

It's been a rough two weeks for the MST directors. After being wowed by over 100 extremely talented auditionees, we have made some very hard decisions and settled on 54 students that will make up the 2014 MST acting company. The 2014 company has been drawn from twenty-nine different schools and universities, with the majority coming from local high school and middle schools. We'd like to thank everyone that auditioned and we look forward to a fantastic season!
