After nine years, twenty-nine productions, and fifty-five awards, Marin Summer Theater is giving the creative team the summer off, so there will be no MST productions in 2018. We look forward to making insanely great theatre with you, and for you in the future!

We have completed auditions for the 2015 company with 19 hours of in-person auditions and another 4 hours of recorded auditions. Thanks to everyone for the time and effort you put into your audition, we loved watching you perform.

One year of madness was not enough! Back for a second year, Marin Summer Theater has announced that registration is now open for MUSICAL THEATER MADNESS 2015, a workshop just for kids between 9 and 14 years of age!
MUSICAL THEATER MADNESS is three weeks of high-energy dancing, singing and acting, culminating in four performances the MST production of DEFYING GRAVITY - THE BEST OF STEPHEN SCHWARTZ. Taught by MST staff members Kate Kenyon (choreographer ANYTHING GOES, LEGALLY BLONDE, GYSPY) and Amanda Morando (Momentum Vocal Ensemble) this three week workshop will also feature special guests from the MST 2015 company.
Registration will be limited to the first 40 students!

The Marin Summer Theater 2014 company has been honored with ten 2014 BroadwayWorld San Francisco Awards. Voted each year by the readers of BroadwayWorld.com for excellence in local theater, every production from the 2014 MST season won at least one award with MST also sweeping the best Leading and Supporting Actor and Actress categories. The ten awards surpassed last year's record of seven BroadwayWorld San Francisco Awards earned by the 2013 MST company.
Marin Summer Theater (MST) is an award winning non-profit theater company for students of performing arts between the ages of 13 and 23. The MST company prepares and presents three fully-staged productions in a six-week summer season. MST's mission is threefold: To present exciting, professional quality drama, musical theater and musical revue productions; to keep tuition as low as possible so that cost is not a barrier to participation; to create a diverse company of college and high school students.
