The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

Special Benefit Performance - The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

CWWS-87 Join us on June 19th for a special one-night benefit performance of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)!

Reprising a sold out performance earlier this spring, proceeds from this performance will go toward Marin Summer Theater's scholarship fund and will be used to reduce tuition so more students can participate in Marin Summer Theater regardless of economic status.

The performance will be on June 19th at 8pm at the Emily Gates Student Center, 15 San Marin Drive in Novato

Warning! This show is a high-speed roller-coaster type condensation of all of Shakespeare's plays, and is not recommended for people with heart ailments, bladder problems, inner-ear disorders and/or people inclined to motion sickness. MST cannot be held responsible for expectant mothers!

Watch in amazement as three actors take audiences through 37 plays, which are condensed to a 90-minute free-for-all, making mincemeat of the Bard. Improvisation, audience participation, pop culture, and local references are in store, as well as the fastest, funniest, "Hamlet" you're likely to see. A great warm up for Rosencrantz & Guildenstern!  (Watch for sock puppets and be forwarned that audience participation will come into play).

Praised by the Los Angeles Times as "wildly funny" and by the Montreal Gazette as "the funniest show you are likely to see in your entire lifetime".
