Gypsy Opens to Rave Reviews
GYPSY, the first production of the 2013 MST season has opened to rave reviews. Gypsy has been referred to as the greatest American musical by numerous critics and writers, among them Ben Brantley ("what may be the greatest of all American musicals...") and Frank Rich. Rich wrote that " Gypsy is nothing if not Broadway's own brassy, unlikely answer to 'King Lear.'" 
MST GYPSY will not disappoint and features astonishing performances by Bouket Fingerhut, Lily Hahn and the entire company. GYPSY features a fifteen piece live orchestra, an amazing set and some of the craziest characters you'll meet on any stage. GYPSY performs on July 5, 6, 7, 12 and 13 at the Emily Gates Student Center at San Marin High School. Tickets may be purchased in advance at by clicking here and at the San Marin High School business office. Tickets may also be purchased at the door before each performance until sold out.

Marin Summer Theater (MST) is an award winning non-profit theater company for students of performing arts between the ages of 13 and 23. The MST company prepares and presents three fully-staged productions in a six-week summer season. MST's mission is threefold: To present exciting, professional quality drama, musical theater and musical revue productions; to keep tuition as low as possible so that cost is not a barrier to participation; to create a diverse company of college and high school students.
